Description
The University of Hawai’i Cancer Center, Community Outreach and Engagement staff Anson Arii, Gabriela Cruz-Mattos, and Jane Teneza with the Skin✓ Van promoted skin cancer awareness at the Kaka’ako Farmers Market, reaching 50 participants.
The Skin✓ Van team utilized the Mexameter scanner, “Spin the Wheel” with sun protection prizes, and a flip chart presentation. They distributed educational materials and sunscreen samples to participants.
