Description

The UH – Dermatology Interest Group’s (DIG) Medical Students did an exhibit table on skin and sun safety education at the Key Project’s community event on Saturday, February 26,  2022. The Key Project works with Native Hawaiian youths and their families in the Kualoa-Heeia communities of the Windward Area. There were 21 attendees who stopped at their exhibit table and asked questions about sun safety.  Available resources at the exhibit were our Coalition’s four Fact Sheets (General Sun Protection, Hats, Outdoor Clothing, and Eyeglasses), American Cancer Society pamphlets, and sunscreen samples.
