Description

We had entertainment from various vendors who contributed their time during the exposition. We had an educational exhibit with sun protective clothing, sunglasses with UV protection, hats, sunscreen samples of various SPF levels, umbrellas with UV protection. We also had a skin cancer quiz wheel with prizes tied to sun protection. We demonstrated how much sunscreen (1 Tbsp.) to apply to the body sections. The Coalition also recruited volunteer dermatologists from the Hawaii Dermatological Society to provide free skin cancer screening. Coalition members assisted the public to complete forms prior to the screening.
